Creativity, with discipline. Mash up your own dashboard and run your jobs, projects, errands and everything else from one board.
DashMash is a dashboard built as a mashup. It brings your files, calendar, contacts and notes onto one board of windows you can drag, stack and leave open for as long as the job takes. Ask an AI window a question once, and it keeps the answer up to date as things change. Works with DEVONthink.
The board below works. Drag a window by its title bar, or minimise one.
Make a board for a deal, a client, a renovation or your week. It remembers where every window sat, so it opens the way you left it.
A live list of every record that matches your search, sortable by created or modified date, the way your mail is. Click a record and it opens in DEVONthink.
Ask once and leave the window open for weeks. Each time you look, it checks again, tells you what changed and keeps the numbers that matter pinned underneath.
Only the meetings and people that belong to this board, read straight from the calendars and contacts already on your Mac.
The small stuff that never fits anywhere else, kept beside the files it's about.
Plain windows never touch the internet. AI windows are the only way out, and you can see every byte that leaves.
DEVONthink, calendar, contacts and notes windows read from your Mac and make no network calls at all.
They talk only to the AI provider, and only when you open or refresh them.
Calendar and contact details never reach an AI window unless you switch that on for that one window.
Every outbound request is listed with its time, window and size, like the log on the board above.
A DashMash search never shows you fewer records than a plain search would.
The AI can add records it thinks belong, like the memo that names the parcel but never says "Harbourfront". It can't hide anything, and if it fails you still get the plain results.
Write to us and we'll reply when DashMash is ready for macOS. That's the only email you'll get.
